This has to be the easiest and most festive holiday recipe ever and its fun to make with the munchkins over the holidays!!!
So tho sis what you will need to make Peppermint Ice Cream
2 liters (½ gallon) Vanillla Ice Cream, softened
2 cups crushed Peppermint Hard Candies
3 tablespoons Peppermint Extract (I found it at Trupps in Ilovo)
Leave ice cream out of freezer to soften.
In the meantime, pulverize peppermint candies in a blender or food processor. Set aside.
Spoon softened ice cream into a large bowl.
Add peppermint extract and crushed peppermint candies to ice cream.
Blend well with a large spoon.
Pour ice cream back into the container or into a large plastic container and refreeze until hard
While you wait, take a snooze.
